72-Hour General Health & Viral Guarantee
Your new kitten is guaranteed to be in good health, free of internal and external parasites, and free of viral infections at the time of pickup or delivery.
- You must have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession.
- If the veterinarian determines the kitten has a life-threatening illness or severe health issue contracted before leaving our cattery, you must notify us immediately with a written statement from the vet.
- Upon confirmation, you may return the kitten for a full refund or choose to apply your funds to a replacement kitten of equal value from a future litter.
1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
We genetically test our breeding adults to ensure we are producing the healthiest companions possible. We guarantee your kitten against fatal or life-altering congenital and genetic defects for their first year of life.
- This covers severe genetic conditions specific to our breeds, such as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) or Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).
- If the kitten is diagnosed with a covered genetic defect within the first year, Prestige Paws will replace the kitten with one of equal value when one becomes available.
- Original veterinary records and diagnostic proof (such as ultrasound or DNA testing) from a licensed specialist must be provided.
Buyer Responsibilities
To keep this health guarantee valid, the adopting family must adhere to the following ethical care standards:
✓ Indoor Only
The kitten must be kept strictly indoors. Allowing the kitten to roam freely outside voids all health guarantees, as it exposes them to diseases, parasites, and fatal accidents.
✓ No Declawing
Declawing is a severe amputation that causes lifelong physical and behavioral issues. Declawing the kitten immediately voids this contract.
✓ Routine Veterinary Care
The buyer agrees to provide routine preventative care, including age-appropriate core vaccinations, deworming, and annual wellness exams.
